2007 chevy tahoe LTZ drivers seat motor

Im looking at swapping out my motor on my drivers seat. I have memory seats. Replacement motors for the memory seats are pretty pricey. Can I use a non memory seat motor?

I am unsure about your question but is it possible that the problem could be a power seat module?

as far as I know it is. I can hear it trying to go up and down back and forth. Every once in awhile it will grab then slip again.
