I want disconnect battery but Im afraid that I may lock the radio. Manuals state that there is a code but I don't have conventional radio channel buttons to press and hold to retrieve unlock code. I can only assume then that 2005 Tahoe Z71 utilizes content deterrent system that learns the VIN and only works with original vehicle? Has anyone experienced issues with radio after disconnecting battery?
