I changed out my adjustable pedal today due to a throttle position code. Well my code is gone but I made a bid mistake it seems

The installation instructions I had, stated to put adjustable pedal to the "highest" position nearest the seat before installation (using the door pedal controls).

Well it seems that the optimum directions were to place the adjustable pedal "lowest" to the floor before disassembly.

Now unfortunately my gas pedal is significantly lower than the brake pedal, causing an uncomfortable height difference between the two.

Is there a way to manually adjust the height of the brake pedal to the gas pedal "separately" ,to arrange them back in the proper height arrangement?

Thanks!! that is what I did indeed have to do. Put the old one back in, adjust the controls all the way down to the firewall. Then put the new accelerator pedal in.

All works great now.
