Hey guys,

I plan on doing the 4-Hi mod tomorrow, AND I'm also planning on doing an "always on" fog lamp mod on my 2003 Yukon.

Does anybody have any links to write ups on either of these? I can do them myself, but I'd like to see what others have done. I'm hoping there's a way to bypass needing diodes for the 4-Hi mod, and I'm also curious about the fog light mod. Should I mod at the switch, or at the wiring near the lamps????

I just finished the hi-4. The only issue I have now, is that I can't figure out the best way to have "Full time fog lights". I want the fogs to be on both when I have the DRLs on, and also when the headlights are on, but the fog light circuit is 15 amps. I already replaced the 10 amp low beam fuse with a 15 amp fuse, but I'm worried about using that same circuit to power the fogs as well. It just seems like a lot to ask of one 10 amp circuit.

I was looking at the fog light switch in the cabin and thinking about jumping the purple and orange, but they were both hot, so I didn't mess with them. I then went to the relay in the engine bay to see if I could just jump 86 or 87 staight to 30, but that just kept the fogs on indefinitly.

I know I'm close to figuring it out, I'm just missing some mundane detail. I just can't figure out which fact I'm neglecting to consider!

We don't have any electrical engineers on here????
