Hello,
I am looking to change out the shocks on my 1999 4dr 4wd Tahoe, as the current ones are completely dead. I looked on Rock Auto and came across a few options at the following prices:
PRT 173584 in the front and PRT 173735 in the rear - $65
MONROE 32263 Monro-Matic Plus in the front and MONROE 32265 in the rear - $80
KYB 344266 Excel-G in the front and KYB 344262 in the rear - $80
The only brand listed that I am familiar with is KYB, but I am not sure what to expect out of their lower-tier products. I'm not really looking to make any sort of performance upgrade, just trying to attain a smoother ride on my student budget. I'm thinking KYB is the best bet? I appreciate everyone's input and suggestions, thanks!
