My throttle cable broke this afternoon, or at least I think its my throttle cable but regardless, when I start up the truck, the engine just revs at around 6. I found that my gas pedal was all the way to the floor and there was some slack in the line which I think is the throttle cable.

Has anyone had this problem and tell me how to fix it easily? Thank you1

You can check the throttle valve at the throttle body. See if you can rotate it back or see if anything is causing it to bind up.
