1996 2dr "Sleeper"

here she is from start to now finally fgot my pics together tell me what you guys think! any and all advice please..

So i picked up this tahoe in december of 2009 from craigslist. did a straight across trade for my 1999 Pontiac grand prix gt with 22's.

Truck ran great on my test run. did the trade and took her home. within one day....

needless to say the a$$hole gave me a truck with a bum motor...i wasnt too upset however because i had only paid 1600 for the grand prix with the rims and everything so i figured i got a 2 door shell for 1600. (great deal in so cal) so me and fav mechanic buddy did the next best thing!

and this is what we found!

so i stripped it down to this

we went .40 over with the pistons and a 3.75 inch eagle crank. roller tip rockers and a custom ground 3-4 race cam 281 duration and .512 lift. stick heads ported and polish. and this is what i have now!

after installation i upgraded the ignition system.(msd dist, wires, coil, and ac delco plugs)

after that i installed dual electric fans from a 95 big body caddilac.

next came vette servo install

changed the water pump yesterday and lowerd the front end.

now just waiting on my bb tune!

yea i have 26's havent put them on yet. also going for a huge cowl hood. maybe marine intake later as well...who knows..i want to build the ultimate sleeper.

yea i wanna get some alloy 24s with some nice meaty tires. mabe street slicks. the 26s came off my 96 impala that i totaled so there just sitting around for now.

That's sick. Not a huge fan of the teal paint but I like everything else about it.

no luckily everything else was fine. i was driving it the very next day and it started knocking really loud for about 5 mins then cut off. didnt start back up.

just installed the dash pocket to replace the old gm stock cd player...ordered it from ebay for $10..small change but looks a little better.
