Thanks for those links Drew!
I'm really liking the second one. Problem is I do not have all the funds I need until I sell my current system. If the guy in your second post still has one of them in a bit under a month I am scooping one.

Cool. I have no relation to them. I'm always keeping my eyes open for good deals and saw those so I figured I'd pass them along to you. GL bro. Hope you get what you're looking for. I'll keep you posted if I see anything of interest.

Yeah I know you're not related to them! Just trying to get me a good deal.:Handshake:
Let me know on some more items you come across over the next three weeks so I can have a large selection.

That's a sick setup Ryan. I was looking at that DD sub yesterday while I was doing some research.
Your sub box is huge! And I read it's 8 cubic feet?
If so I may have a problem.
I only planned on my sub box taking up half the space yours looks to take up in the video. I have to have some truck left for other stuff.

your cargo area is roughly 41" deep, and 49" wide, correct? my box was only 31" deep, i had a wedge type deal between the box and the back of the seat for my amps that was 10" deep....

Oh ok. I thought it was all complete enclosure.
Yes my cargo area is the exact same size as yours. I'm guessing since you have two subs yours has to be bigger. With my one sub I should only need an enclosure about half that size so I guess I'm good to go.
Did you get rid of your system? If so, why?

yes, you would want something close to 4cuft, it also depends on the power you use, if you are feeding it more then rated, you go smaller on the enclosure, if you are feeding it less than rated, then go bigger on the enclosure. i ended up trading my tahoe for a silverado, so i sold all the equipment. will be doing something SQ based under my backs eats.

Ok thanks. With the DC, DD, and Fi subs it will be underpowered so a smaller enclosure is likely.
I'm still in a dilemma about which sub to get!:emotions122:

i have been in the car audio game for awhile and i personally would go with the XL. with underpowered you want to go a bit bigger, maybe 4.2~4.3cuft. but a pre 05 *** would be sick also. i had a 05 *** 12" it was out of control. they just arent easy to find after RE changed build houses and went to the new baskets their product went under.

be sure to go sub up port back, it has been proven time and time again to have the best output.

I have 2 sa 15's on 1600w amp. The box is sealed for right now because I didn't have anyone to make a ported one but I'm about to make a switch.

Hey modded, there's a guy selling two 15 Fi btl's fully loaded in another forum. He contacted me via pm. He wants $550 for the pair. I have his number if you are interested. I'm sure he would sell just one. I was dead set on the Havoc but I got some offers for a DC and now I might switch to either a Lvl 4 or XL. I blame you for making me keep looking around j/k bro lol. Let me know if you want that number.

Thanks Drew.
I still do not have all the $ for the audio build yet so I could not afford his DC subs anyway. I talked to my car audio installer friend yesterday about the box that he is going to build for me and we discussed what sub is best for the SQ that I am looking for. I have now made up my mind that I am undoubtedly going with one new Ascendant 18" Havoc D1 sub ran off a 1500w Rockford amp. So I guess me and you have about the same taste haha.
I also guess that means you won't have to post as many finds for me anymore. But if you see any new 18" Havocs let me know. I would also appreciate if you can lead me to any Ascendant audio dealers that can sell me that sub for the cheapest price new?
Thanks.

Havocs are hard to come by. You supposedly can't buy them online. You have to go thru an authorized dealer and it can't be over the internet. I found one on eBay but the guy would never respond to my messages and he took the ad down after I messaged him so I'm guessing maybe Ascendant found out and made him take it down. You can buy one at Defiant Audio but you have to call to order it. They have a website, I'm sure if you Google it, it won't be hard to find the website. Or try soundsolutionsaudio.com. Sound Solutions has great customer service but when I talked to a guy at Defiant, he was pretty helpful too. The Havocs are made to order so there is a 2-3 week waiting period. They are based out of Las Vegas so it shouldn't take long to ship to where you are at. I actually have the Rockford 1k watt amp. I was going to run it with the Havoc 12. Maybe I should just stick with the Havoc. Is there a reason why you chose Havoc? I've heard nothing but good things about them. I started looking into the DC Level 4 and XL, then I started thinking I needed a bigger amp but I'm starting to back track and maybe I'll just go with the Havoc and stick with the amp I have. It'll probably be cheaper that way. I can get the used Havoc for $260 shipped. They are $360 plus shipping so probably around $400. I'd imagine the 15" is about $20 more. Let me know your thoughts on the Havoc. Did your installer say anything that made you decide on them?
