Another question which is not covered in the operators manual......
My 2007 Yukon XL has the towing package and I have a car trailer with electric brakes. I had an add-on electric brake actuator on my '95 Suburban which worked well since I could adjust the amount of brake that went back to the trailer as the load increased (running without anything on it required less brakes than when I had weight/car on the trailer).
My question is does the Yukon XL towing package have the setup from the factory for the electric brakes? Or do I need to install an optional electric brake sender for this like I had on my Suburban?
I like the optional one since I can adjust the brakes on the trailer (slide bar on the actuator that I had mounted under the dash) from the sender while I am driving. Wondering how the Yukon XL knows how much voltage to send to the trailer brakes depending on the load.
