07 Tahoe wheel fitment

I have a 07 Tahoe that came factory with 17's got a level kit for it and was woundering if 16's would fit or if I have to stay 17's or bigger

17s and bigger. The 16s won't fit the 07+ models because of the bigger front brakes than the previous generation.
