About 6 months ago I replaced my front shocks ( due to mileage ) with a 'stock replacement' ..... Just recently, I'm hearing a squeak, in the "up-stroke", slowly over a speed bump, in my neighborhood. It sounds like the driver's side. I am thinking, it's my shock.
Bilstien. Hmmm....

It is possible, but you also may have a squeaking bushing, such as a sway bar bushing.

I thought of the sway bar bushing also..... My sway bar is new. ( Installed by a very good shop, and they greased the bushing ).... I am not worried..... But I'll keep an eye on it..... ( shock & bushing )

Your very good shop can find the squeaker. Give 'em a chance to solve it for you.
They should be able to find the noise, They know truck suspensions. ( Not all their work is 'lifts' )
