'05 Tahoe Z71 - IOWA

Hello all,

New member from Iowa. Bought myself a 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71 and can't wait to get modding. Got some pretty neat ideas I have taken from here and a few other sites. Got some issues to fix first (like squeaking pullies) but will get right to work.

Look forward to showing some progress and learning from everyone!

Thank you for all the welcomes! Glad to see some Iowans on here.. my last forum for my hyundai tiburon was dead as far as Iowan activity! lol. Helps my little brother, skaffy03, knows a bunch of people around here as well as referring me to this site.

Trying to make up my mind.. performance first or exterior mods? hmmm


List of known mods i want to do:
-Air Intake (CAI or SRI?)
-Full exhaust system (I/H/E)
-Lightweight engine components?
-Tuner/Tune
-6" Susp lift w/ 3" Body lift
-Moto Metal M)962 - Black (RIMS)
-F/R: 18x10 offset -24 w/ Aggressive Stance > 1" Outside fender
-Nitto mud grapplers 37"x12.5" 320/75
-Tinted Windows
-LED Interior Lights (Guage, Overhead Lamp, etc)
-Aftermarket Headlight (http://www.carid.com/2005-chevy-tahoe-headlights/spyder-crystal-headlights-euro-21859052.html)
-HID High/Lows - 6000k or 8000k (Not sure whats good here)
-HID Fogs
-Off-Road Front/Rear Bumper w/ ***** and attached double lightbars small
-Single mounted lightbar for roof rack
-Black Out Tails
-Upgrade the sound system (AMP + Small subs for "some" bass boost but not a lot)
-Double DIN Touchscreen setup w/ Satellite radio (Understand theres some crazy work to bypass BOSE stuff)
-Subdued American Flag etched/Painted on Off-Road bumper OR roof rack
-Tow-Mirrors (Maybe...)


Any other suggestions?
