well i got mine installed... with a nelson harness(got it all from a buddy of mine.) Do i need to go in and turn the fan on? i have it wired to the pcm and to the a/c. doesnt seem like the other fan comes on. Any help thanks

i think you need to reprogram the pcm so it can control the e-fans

Where exactly did you wire it in to the a/c? I just got BB's harness and Im lookin to wire it in tommorrow.

There is a green wire that i tapped into... id have to go take a pic to show you where i tapped into it at... But its pouring rain right now, ill have to wait.

A programmer. Some kind of hand held tuner or Blackbear tune or something like that...

i used efi live... thats what ive been tuning my hoe with.

yeah, that's what i was assuming, but thought maybe there was another way.

I just wired mine up, I can definitely feel a difference in the throttle response. I did have a question for you guys though, I wired up my BB harness to the A/C wire, but now one fan stays on from when I start up the hoe until about 10 seconds after I shut down, regardless of the A/C being on or not. Is that bad?

yeah i can tell a diff... when i turned my fan on i used my buddies stock 05 chevy tune and just put his setting in my tahoe.

Did you disconnect your battery before putting your pin in the harness. Was it much trouble knocking out the one pin to install the harness pin. I have everything ready to do the mod, just want to make sure I dont forget to do something or screww up the pins

Any improvement in gas mileage that you've noticed? Are they loud at all when they are on?

yes i had the battery undone. the fans are not that loud but you can hear them... before i put my pin in i ran a pick threw that hole and knocked the insulation out of that hole and it went in pretty easy.
