I just bought the above speedometer cluster on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/39043123682...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_1850wt_1159

It seemed cheap, and I know that speedo's with a trans temp gauge are snapped up quickly so I bought it.

The question is, will it actually fit my 2001 Tahoe? The ebay listing gives a fitment listing, and my 01 Tahoe is not one of them. I am guessing/hoping that they are wrong and that it will fit.

Well, it turned out that it did work! It was plug and play. Not having a tran temp indicator before, I am not sure what the readings should be under normal load (not towing...only one person on board and nothing else)...what does everyone else show for nominal temperatures?

Not that it is that big of a deal, I just wish I could reduce the miles somehow...the new (used) speedo has 154k on it, and my original had 134k.

I believe you would have to either go to a dealer and have them program it for some crazy price or there is a seller on eBay that does it too.
