    Hesitation after cam/dod delete

So what can you tell me about injector tuning? lol I put new GM "nominal Flow" pn 12707873 injectors and fuel rails in and now im coding lean bank 1 and 2. What came out was pn 12656008. On rock auto they are both listed as nominal flow, but not compatible with one another. Either way i...

    Hesitation after cam/dod delete

Thanks for pointing me in that direction. They look pretty nice. It looks like it takes off from the PCV valve no? The valve cover pipes still go to the air box?

    Hesitation after cam/dod delete

The tuner I’m using is responsible for just that, tuning. They will make adjustments as required for up to a year after purchase of the tunes. It appears high flow injectors are actually cheaper, still gm original equip. I just want to get what is best, and don’t want to miss opportunity when...

    Hesitation after cam/dod delete

I think I’m going to change all the injectors. That brings me to questions… Nominal flow? High flow? Does it matter if they are all the same? Should I go with ac delco? What is best for these engines? The source of all the oil in the intake is coming from the line that goes from the VLOM to...

    Hesitation after cam/dod delete

Thank you. I can’t tell you how helpful it is having someone with experience look at these numbers. I’m very green with efi live. When you say leaking, do you mean leaking compression, or passing fuel? I feel like there is a lot of oil getting in the intake still even with the DOD delete...

    Hesitation after cam/dod delete

Thanks for the reply. I have been a bit too busy to look at the car for a bit, so I stole it from the wife this morning and took a data log on the way to work. The cam is a 223/227 .635 112LSA from Texas speed. VVT is locked out. Lifters were set by following the chiltons manual. There was a...

    Hesitation after cam/dod delete

Hello! 2015 Yukon 6.2 got a TSP cam and dod delete kit a couple months ago. Since I have been trying to figure out why I have a serious hesitation problem. I have efi live tuning and am working with the tuner via data logs. I have no cel and I am at a loss at this point. I have pulled the...

    Hey Folks

Well. Few weeks later now. Runs, drives, etc. Tuning is usable, but definitely was a struggle to get where it is now with the tuner. Also hearing crickets now for the re-tune after sending data logs. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the time to actually learn how to properly tune yet, but I have...

    Hey Folks

Borrowed a snap on scanner from a shop owner, had 40+ body module codes. Did you guys know these things have 25 modules!? That’s 25 computers running these beasts… wow Hate to admit it, but I missed a ground putting the car back together… right point blank in my face, right on the alternator...

    Hey Folks

TSP did tell me the reason for 0 degree lockout is due to the heavy springs, and not being able to control the timing properly like you said. Seems strange to me, as RB26 engines utilize VVT, as do a lot of high performance engines. Anyway, it’s got the lock in now and is back together. It’s...

    Hey Folks

Thanks for the warm welcome. I don’t have much for pics of this whip… it carts the wife and kids around and I usually end up with a speeding ticket on road trips lol Here’s a pic of the carnage I’m into now!

    Hey Folks

Thank you! It’s got approx 90,000 miles. Up here in the frozen north we idle a lot throughout the winter too. I think it’s got 4500hrs total on it, and 1500 of that is idle from what I can remember. Oil changes are done at 6000mi or 3 months.

    Hey Folks

New to this forum, not to forums... Quick and dirty... L86 Yukon... #4 bent pushrod #7 dead intake lifter... simultaniously it would seem.... On order is TSP SV cam (223/227, .635/.635., 116 LSA) factory fuel lobe. I'd like to retain VVT if possible and if worthwhile... I'm a Cummins guy...
