    Escalade Mirror Upgrade Question

Hi Dierk. I also build a harness that will add those circuits and enable the puddle lamps, turn signals and driver auto dim features. If you'd like to order, send me an email to [email protected]. Thanks.

    Escalade Mirror Upgrade Question

That should work. The Rock Auto site shows that passenger mirror switch to interchange with 23488406. Let us know if that solves your issue once you have it installed.

    Escalade Mirror Upgrade Question

Hi Matt, I installed new mirrors from TYC and now the right hand mirror won't fold as I just replaced the switch for the mirror control, which switch do I need for the right hand side, do you have a part number? Hi Dierk, the switches needed for the mirror fold function depend on whether your...

Fosscore's 2013 Suburban LTZ Build Thread

Not to hijack, but I’ve found in my 2012 5.3L burb (no tune) on the highway that running at approx. 2k rpm (driving safely, as conditions allow) yields the best mix of mileage & speed. Anything higher or lower seems to decrease the mileage.

    2021 Tahoe/Escalade/Yukon Power Running Boards

I searched using the info in the photo and found this: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Electric-pedal-accessories-circuit-universal-kit_1600554634696.html?spm=a2700.pccps_detail.0.0.1ffd13a05G9q0w Pic and price match, but it says it's for a 2012-2013 BMW 530i. Of course, they could...

    Escalade Mirror Upgrade Question

I'll throw this out there... Wiring schematic for the side blind zone alert along with the rear bumper harness mating connectors. Takes a power, ground, data and a signal wire to each mirror. Typically, power and ground are already at the rear bumper connector. So the other three wires are...

    Escalade Mirror Upgrade Question

Hi Art. Just saw your email. To all, I build these and other harnesses on the side during nights and weekends around my day job and family commitments. So I don't have a lot of spare time for the forums, but am happy to help where/when I can. Phil (Harness Dr) and I work together, referring...

    Wiring Schematics 2015+

Your best bet is the LH dash fuse block. It's behind the dash trim panel that's facing the door. There's a number of B+, ignition and accessory circuits there. For example, in the X1 connector you see when the trim panel is removed (larger connector with a cover over its wires), pins 29 & 30...

    Fog/Driving Light Install 2022 Tahoe

I’m happy to look into a way to achieve this using a factory switch and wiring that integrates in to the vehicle. I’m thinking the bumper harness section would have blunt cut wires that the end user could splice into the connections to the fog lamps of their choice. Thoughts? As I don’t have...

CV Axle Noise During Low Speed Maneuvers?

Certainly not ruling that out, but it just doesn't sound like one that's going bad based on my past experience. Of course, I'm not really sure what that's worth...

CV Axle Noise During Low Speed Maneuvers?

Searched and didn't see anything that addressed what I believe is my issue. Is it possible for the CV axle(s) to make a "whirring" sound? Is that an indication of anything going bad? It's primarily noticeable at low speeds (<5 mph) when turning (2wd is selected on the dial). Especially when...

Radiator replacement - What should I be replacing while I'm there?

I just did this same thing last weekend. Good advice from others. A good set of remote hose clamp pliers will save you frustration on the lower radiator hose (ask me how I know lol). Only thing I didn't replace was the water pump. I did also replace the AC stretch belt (with GM OE) as I...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Need some radiator advice. At 152k, it looks to be the original rad. I’ve been suspicious of a small leak. Did a pressure test at 15psi (overflow tank cap says 20psi) and it appears to be leaking at the driver side. Are these prone to leak here? I drove it approx 10 miles round trip and...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Interestingly the rear coolant crossover pipe isn't present in my 2012. Lol the only new VLOM I'm investing in will be one without AFM when I delete it. The foam was acutally intact, but the front piece wasn't in its place.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Had an intake manifold leak to tackle today. Sounded like a choo choo train on a cold start when the engine idled down. Lot of caked on dirt and remnants of disintegrated wire loom under the manifold. Three of the ten vlom bolts were finger tight SMH. Did an injection service yesterday in...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Per the service manual, the rivets aren’t required to be replaced. But I’m OCD. It allowed me to get it perfectly centered and the gasket didn’t budge at all during installation which was nice. My guess is that, at the factory, the oil pan is prob put on with the engine upside down. So the...
