Ok, So the past few days I've noticed a ticking/Clicking noise coming from my engine (top half). I work at LKQ autoparts here in Texas so I do know my way around a car and its parts. I had a buddy that I work with come take a listen to it sitting at idle said its sounds like a bad lifter. My...
From what I've read and heard on here buying a kit is pointless I know that zone kit is a good deal its like 150 for the key and rear block I almost went for it too. Instead I went over to summitracing and just picked up a 2in rear block and 4 new shocks to acount for the 2in of lift all around...
Looking for all the lifted tahoe/yukons 4ins and lower. Want to see pics and no what your working with. I want to see what it looks like before i order my lift.
Hey guys need help restoring my tahoe so if anyone has their stock Tahoe emblem from the side molding on the doors and would like to give/sell to me or know somewhere I can order one that would be great! I still have one just need the other so it doesnt look stupid.
thanks guys!:owned:
brett I know what you mean just a pain in the ass to sit there and do them.
and matt thanks for the info and the pics looks great man I like the look of your ride I think the black'd out lights will look good since I already have the black gaurds on there.
brett thats damn good im at almost 180k but still running strong just fixing stuff as it they show signs of wear. Just gotta take care of these engines and they'll last forever. My granddad drives a 98 sierra reg. cab with over 300K still runs great. only thing we've replace on it is trans...
vtx1800sba Your putting in alot of work man i like it, I just got my whole AC done too. Its way to hot down here in texas for no AC. Does your indash have a video screen? Im bout to buy a single din with a 4.3' touch screen for mine.

Most people go with a 2in block right off the bat and i know most kits like the "zoneoffroad" and "roughcountry" kits come with 2in blocks but id maybe just get back under it and crack them back down and start over (just my idea)
i never thought about that but it might take the eyes off the frame a little idk im going going to crack keys and 2in block the back. then i think ill be happy (till i want it bigger)
96ProCompTahoe
I like your ride what are your specs??
'93Yuke im liking your paint job and height ive got some 2.5's to not true duals and with a glasspack. I plan on changing it to true duals and coming out right behind the doors in front of the tires maybe with a dual tip on both side.
Its been done before but lets do it again post your 2door tahoe/yukon or blazer/jimmy and what the last mod you've done along with the next mod on your list.
:signs1:
Mine a 95 2door Thoe all stock with ranchhand brush gaurd and westin taillight gaurds. 31' BFG A/T's and blue LED gauges.
ok so I can crack my stock keys and add a block out back and do shocks? what size block should I use "summitracing" has alot of different sizes. I want a good 2-3ins of lift.
and I think im going to go with rough countrys shocks are they any good?
ok new to lifting tahoe's but have some know how. I've got a 98 tahoe with the auto 4x4 and im on the market for a small lift 2-3in. then maybe do a 2in body after that. (just getting into the look not the offroad use) Zoneoffroad has a 2in kit that come with front tbar keys and rear blocks in...
