we were planning on pretty much changing the whole system i was wanting to keep the build under $12k with a 2.9l whipple and get in the park of 650-750 whp
So jenna even if you changed injectors and changed to fuel pump which we had planned you would still have problems? how do you go about adding the alcohol sensor?
Money isn't laying around but I can't take it with me when I die. I was told you could get the most power out of a Whipple and my buddy says you'll make more power on e85. I'm just looking for more input on it.
I plan on buying a 6.2 1/2 truck. I want to throw a supercharger on it and i want to keep the 6.2 motor and just make it stupid fast, i know turbos make more power but i wanna stick with a supercharger. Also my buddy says we need to run it on e 85. Suggestions please
How hard would it be to replace to stock bose speakers with 6x9s? I know they aren't the same size but could you just cut out the right area and put them in?
run 30 in the back and 32 up front. i worked for a tire shop and the owner was the most anal person i ever worked for he said 30 and 32 was the best for wear and traction i think he had 33s on his truck. but he didn't care what size it was
i have 315 70 17s and they rub a decent amount with keys and spacers. 35 12.5s are 3/4 inch wider i think they will rub a lot more. my buddy bought 35 12.5 20s on his hemi megacab with a 3 inch lift and it still isn't enough lift
i guess if you think magnaflow sound hick you must have never been outside the city limits because round here all we have is hicks and my hoe is the least hick sounding truck in town

i think flowmasters are the biggest joke ever they sound like crap imo and dont do much. just get a magnaflow. i have 1 on my hoe amd it is the perfect sound low deep rumble loud at wot and not annoying cruising. sometimes i dont even turn radio on just roll down windows and listen to the ponies...

you could get away with a 4l80e if you werent gonna build it up much. i seen in a diesel mag they had a built 4l80e on a twin turbo duramax and it was in a chevy station wagon
