    I have a 2003 Tahoe LS 4x4. 196,000 miles, original shocks. 90% on road, highway use, some off road gravel or dirt. This is also my trailer tow vehicle. Are KYB Mono max series shocks or Bilstein 4600 series shocks the better choice? Standard suspension, no air or auto leveling system on unit.

    Just realized this battery is a type 48AGM. Do AGM batteries have a sulfating problem like lead acid ones do? This battery voltage had dropped below 5 volts before I started charging it. If I remember correctly, could this low voltage shorten the overall life of the battery?

    My 5.3 with 4 speed does struggle with the winds that can blow my daughters semi over. The pickup I drove for work had the 6.0 engine with 6 speed tranny and it would blow the doors off my Tahoe. The Tahoe is far better the ride, though. Doesn't tire me out like the Silverado did.
