    Went and checked the fuse block, and sure enough, numbers 2 and 24 were popped. I replaced them and as soon as I engaged 4x4, the light came on, power went to the front, and I heard 2 pops. Looked again, and both fuses were broken. What could be causing that?

    I have a 96 tahoe with a floor shifter for 4x4, and I am having the same problem. I can shift into 4x4 and the rear has power, and I can hear a spoiling from the front of the vehicle, but there is no power whatsoever in the front axle. Is that the same issue you were having?

    Is there anyone that makes a good front winch bumper for a 96 Tahoe? I have been looking everywhere, and the only thing I can find is a damn ranch hand bull pusher. I'm looking for something like a 6 or 8 inch round tube with a mount plate, or something similar, nothing huge or fancy.
