    I'm fairly sure the high pressure AC line from front to rear is leaking. I'm no AC pro but think there are 3 options. 1) New lines 2) Splice leaky line (is this OK or a hack?) 3) Rear AC delete If I delete the rear AC then what vents no longer blow cold? Like would I even care its gone...

    Yeah I didn't mean to over sell what I did. It's a bit short. You can just see the black head between the block and spark plug heat shield. It's not too bad just a little warm at times. I have heat wrap on on it.

    Don't cringe but some of us do a 2x4 on the back end of the oil pan and jack it up a bit.

    Nothing fancy but I used this. My oem dipstick rusted and cracked when I tried to bend it around my kook's headers. This part is nice but a tad short so careful when checking oil level on a hot engine. I'll get an installed pic in a bit. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/LOK-X1220217

    I used new engine mounts as an excuse to install long tube headers, trans lines, oil pan gasket, oil pickup oring, starter, custom dip stick and so forth. I have another car so just did everything that bothered me. +1 for the dorman kits.

    Hey neat. Line to my heater core snapped off. Luckily I was 1 block from home. **** was steaming and boiling out everywhere. I hope the block and heads are ok. Probably are. Parts on order.

    Ok? Also the slp doesn't fit the 3.0 pipe on a small 5.3 like yours. Unless you have the 6.2. Then I'll eat my words! Nice tail lights btw!

    I have one. I love it. I removed it to do some work and slapped on the stock resonator for what I thought would be just a bit. My SLP delete has been on my shelf for some time. I don't really want to sell but would I guess if the price was right.

    Thanks for the pointers. I got the maf and ve histograms setup with proper axis scaling from my ROM and %err as the data. First maf tuning, then all that virtual ve stuff. The wideband makes it easier than using fuel trims.
