Make sure the truck has proper fuel pressure 45-60 psi I bought a new spider and the fuel pressure regulator was missing parts and it wouldn’t start although it had fuel. I just took the parts from my old one. If you got the parts from rockauto or a place like that it would be the first thing I...

i have a 2000 yukon denali and i woke up to a truck that wont stay running. it cranks and starts but stalls less than a second later. it has oil pressure. and it has fuel spark and compression. ( it starts every time just wont stay running) not sure the problem> when i parked it it was fine and...
i recently got my hands on a 1999 tahoe for a song because it needed a new engine. ive pulled the old one and i am swinging in the new one and i cant get in the truck. its almost like it doesnt fit. i cant get it far enough back to mount the engine mounts without hitting the flexplate on the...
the sensor is not that hard to replace its on the bottom of the timing cover Its right behind the crank pulley on the passenger side of the engine. You will see the wire connector going to it.
im doing a top end rebuild on my old mans truck . we figured since we are in there we might as well do the timing chain. to do the chain we have to drop the oil pan. so my question to you guys is can i sneek the pan out without removing the engine from the truck?
i know its been a while but i did the compression check. it has 0 psi in the number six cylinder. and the coolant is turning muddy and we are losing coolant. could a bad head gasket account for 0psi? i figured if it had just a bad head gasket it would have more than 0psi. any thoughts?
in my truck had the same issue and it turned out to be the fuel pump
it made 50psi but with anything more than 1/4 throttle it would fall on its face and lose pressure
i also never had a code whe dealing with this issue
