    Big brake kit help needed

Its about time for brakes, but I don't want to waste money on the stock brakes. I have 18" wheels and 285/65/18LT Nitto grappler tires. They are very heavy and make this tank even harder to stop. What's the most inexpensive big brake setup I can get thats going to actually make a difference on...

    Factory Sub Replacement is here!

Factory sub and amp are 2 ohm. Says 2 ohm on the magnet, but I tried it both ways and 2 ohm sounds best. Now I've got to do the rest of the speakers. Any suggestions? I paid $47 for the sub, just fyi on my spending range.

Question: Truck roll after shift to park?

Always set the emergency brake when on even the slightest of hills. Otherwise, you put a load on the transmission, not good for it.

I got the el cheapos from ebay after reading good reviews. paid $25 for both. I replaced one of the harness connectors because the plastic broke the other connector was fine, no corrosion. If im not mistaken, the PCM is supposed to be putting out 5V TO the sensors themselves. Im going to check...

    Factory Sub Replacement is here!

Just got my Polk Audio DB840dbc in the mail. I chose this unit for my factory sub replacement based on several reviews in this forum and others. My question is, do I make it 2 ohm or 4 ohm? which sounds better? How do I change it from dual 4 ohm to 2 ohm if 2 is better? im confused on how to...

    pissed!!!!!!!!

Cleared the codes, drove it 20 miles home and it only gave me the code for 1 sensor, the bank 1 knock sensor. Not sure which one that is, but either way, the problem Still exists. Someone said to check the alternator for ac volts which can cause issues with sensors. Anyone heard of this?

Ok, so changing the gap didn't fix the problem. Added lucas to the oil and 108 octane booster. Cleared thecodes and even reset the fuel trim level (Disconecting the battery cables and touching them together for 10 seconds and leaving the battery disconnected for 20 mins) drove to work the...

    pissed!!!!!!!!

Yes, both were fine as far as corrosion goes. However, one broke when I discinnected. The plastic just fell apart, so I replaced that connector. Just squeezed the spark plug gap own to .040, going to go drive it and see what happens. Also, would a bad maf sensor cause a lean mix which would...

    pissed!!!!!!!!

P0327 and p0332, feels like runs a little better, not much, could be just do to the new intake gaskets. Slight rocker rattle under low rpm load still, don't know if that's due to the knock sensors retarding the timing or what. Going to check spark plug gap and try 93 octane to see if that fixes it.

Nothing pisses me off quite like spending hours replacing a part and it not fixing the problem. I had knock sensor codes so I replaced them and intake gaskets. Cleared the codes, Drove it 3 miles and the damn knock sensors read low input on both. Wtf!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!,!,! I'm so sick of fighting...
