Don't see why you couldn't. I think the extenders are a cheaper option.

2003 Tahoe issues! Need help quick...

It sounds like you're battery is being used while the vehicle isn't on or isn't holdiing a charge. Did you try jumping it? If it starts that way then its probably a problem with the battery (short somewhere).

Who has the highest miles thread.

These vehicles will last forever with the proper maintenance. It seems like my body will rust out long before the frame or engine quits on me. So far I have 134,000 on my 04 yukon,

Anyone move the spare into the cargo area?

That's a nice rig ^ I'd kill for mine to look like that!

Anyone move the spare into the cargo area?

I took mine off and just set it on a mat in the cargo area. It doesn't move around at all because of its weight, and like you said the vehicle looks better without it on.

    PAC vs. Metra

I used a PAC recently. Forget the model at the moment, but I did the research and found it was the thing I needed. I installed it in my 04 yukon with bose. Everything was working great, but I get no chimes- I honestly don't mind! but i noticed that my key fob doesn't seem to work. I tried...

    oil filter question

These things are kinda hard to change compared some other vehicles. There's a cross member right below the filter, and it's tricky at first to not get too much oil on it when you take the filter off. I have found to unscrew the filter a little bit and the oil runs down the sides of it and...

    oil filter question

That is not going to work with any vehicle that has the oil filter on the bottom just as you thought. However, if you are dead set on doing this, then you could probably change it really quick and only lose about half your oil. But again, I don't think this makes much sense in this situation.

    Need Help Quick!

I actually ended up lifting them up and putting a wood block underneath them. It worked good. I actually see a lot of people tuck a piece of card board underneath them that is big enough for most the windshield, but the ice is done so I'm not going to try that this time! lol

    NERF Bars

I got some performance product's nerf bars I'm selling. I used them on my yukon for about 4 years, but they look good still. However, they are crome and not black. If you're interested pm me.

    Need Help Quick!

This may seem like a stupid question, however it is important that I get an answer really quick. There's a huge snow/ice storm hitting the home front here, and I park outside. I need to know how to stand up the wiper blades on my 04 yukon. I tried google, but I don't know what to put in the...

    Rear Differential

Just food for thought regarding burnouts and the like. I read this info on here about a year ago, and I'm glad I did! If you are burning out and you have your wheels turned be sure not to crank it because you can blow your power steering pump! Just FYI as you seem to be interested in spinning...

    2000-2006 preformance queshtion

None of them lol. Yukons aren't exactly the best offroading vehicles. They are heavy and IMO were designed more as a nice on road vehicle w/ offroad and 4wd potential. However, many people do lift them, put bigger tires, etc. and use them for offroading. I don't know the facts, but I would think...

    What tires for leveling out?

The truxx kit seems a little over priced. Rough Country has a kit for $250 which includes 3/4" rear spacers, keys for 2 inch lift, and 4 shocks that will fit after installation of the keays and spacers. See you're from WV.. Bill Stewart = :(

    Chassis Saver

I got it at NAPA. Didn't search around online for prices too much, but it looks to be about the same price everywhere.

    rough country leveling kit

^ Actually I lied just checked performance products and the MT's are $112 + 5% off and free shipping. I don't know much about backspacing and offset but these particular wheels are 4 7/16 backspace w/ -27mm offset.

    rough country leveling kit

Thanks for that tip! would have never known that. backspace and offset? And last question- before/after is referring to your old setup and your current setup or is after referring to your old setup?

    rough country leveling kit

I got the same kit. It looks like it's higher in the back, and a bit in the front. The guy who put them on for me said that he didn't crank the keys at all. I'm thinking about bringing the front completely level with the back (as there is slight rake currently), and putting 16" or 17" mickey...
