Yes, I've been street tuning it. I know the tires will slow it down some. I'm going to put the stocks back on before a test and tune soon but I was expecting 15s not 18s.- Brians4x4

Feeling low on power after mods
I did a bunch of work over the winter and just now getting to drive it. 2005 Tahoe 4x4 5.3 3.42 gears and 285 wide tires. I did the following: BTR stage 2 truck cam, valve springs, and pushrods. Transgo shift kit with corvette servo and aluminum accumulator. TCI 2800 stall torque converter...- Brians4x4

Things to check for low mpg
I have a 2005 5.3 and have gotten around 14-15mpg in town since new. Recently I've been getting around 7.5-8mpg. I have no check engine light and am wondering what I can check. As for perfomance mods I have dual cherrybomb glasspacks. How does the Spectre compare to a K&N? Did you notice any real performance gain?
