Transmission issue, HELP. I'M moving in 4 days..
2001 Tahoe, 5.3 2wd, 4l60e. About 60k on rebuilt trans. Ok, so coming home to day I pull out on to the highway, as soon as it goes to shift into 2nd. That's all she wrote. Loud bang, jerk, then engine just revs.. I pull over. Shift to neutral, drive nothing, shift 3rd, same. Ok.. so down to...- Trixxterr

Yea Me!! 10 mos exactly.
So yeah. Its been TEN months to the day today. Since my Tahoe had a run in w a suicidal deer, went down. Got the body work done no problem, insurance paid for that. But they wouldn't cover the transmission, that also died in said incident. Got tired of arguing, I let it go. Well my banker (wife)...- Trixxterr

Hit deer, Transmission is dead?! WTF?!?
OK, Wtf?! I hit a deer goin to see my daughter today. Now my transmission is screwed. It works for a minute or two, then nothin just Revs like its in neutral or park. What the hell?!? A/C control question.. Stupid, maybe??
Ok, I've never had the recirculate button turn on the A/C in any other vehicle I've owned. When switching from fresh air to recirculate the cabin air. But yet in my 01 Tahoe it does exactly that. I dont know, if that's normal or not. Hence the post, asking. Be gentle on the new guy.. LOL. -

Hello all, I recently joined the board to keep up to date and research. I currently have a 95 Tahoe 4wd, 4door. With, a lil under 250k miles. She needs LOTS OF TLC. Lol..
