    Sounds like you had the well-documented thrust bearing issues with the 25-26 LZ0 engines. I had the LM2, which didn't have the same issues, but it has the exact same thrust bearings as the LZ0. Other than my active grill shutters going dead, that was a great powertrain.

    The 0-40 oil did nothing. Engines that got the thicker oil are still failing. The Disabler will help a bit, but that helps the lifters on the 5.3-Liter engine more so. If you do ditch it, what would you get instead?

    You have very low mileage for a six-year-old vehicle. Could you have an issue? Absolutely. The stated failure rate hovers around 5%, but it is likely much higher. The good news is that you don't appear to drive it hard, so that's a plus. I believe all the 2021 6.2-liter engines were the L87.
