    Well I could do it for $150 if I want to use Chinese glass which I don’t want to do. Ended up having the chip filled as there is a National backorder on Tahoe windshields. Called 5 glass shops in two states and they all laughed and said the same thing….National backorder.

    After the minor work I did on the Tahoe in this post I took it on a 800 mile trip. Ran like a dream! I did notice when I got out of the Tahoe with it still running that the fuel pump was making a very loud whining noise. Fuel was at half and the outdoor temp was 110 degrees. Fuel pump going out?

    Yes, correct. Years ago I had a major service done on my Tahoe by having the rear main seal and oil pan gasket replaced. When I got the truck back that little piece of metal was missing. It always bothered me and I saw the GM part was on Amazon for $8 so I picked one up.

    My system still works great (knock on wood). My Tahoe has 165k miles so I figure I should change the parts before it fails. Since my compressor hasn't locked up yet could I get by with just changing the compressor or should all three parts be replaced?
