Some of the leaking is definitely coming from here. Do these look like major issues or I can limp by for now?
One other thing I've noticed is that I keep having to top off the coolant. I don't notice anything on the ground or see any active leak anywhere. Changed my oil recently but didn't...
I haven't driven it since I cleaned it up. It's just sitting on ramps in my garage. The oil is literally coming from that circled area. Is that some kind of seal that can be tightened?
Ok, I'm going to trickle in a couple of posts now on leaks that I'm finding. Here's the first one. Before/after cleaning the area/after it's sat a couple of days.
Any thoughts on how to deal with it? I don't even know what I'm looking at there.
Thanks for all of the help once again, guys! Got all of them done! Started with the lower driver's side and was able to break that free no problem with the ratchet. Then went to the passenger side lower and I couldn't get it. I had purchased one of those O2 sensor removal tools a little while...
@swathdiver - was thinking about collecting the transmission fluid and sending for analysis while I continue to troubleshoot. I've used Blackstone before - would you use anyone else? Also, currently have 24K on the transmission fluid.
Have a 2012 Chevy Impala with 208K miles and have owned the vehicle since about 6K miles. I've kept up with maintenance along the way including several transmission fluid changes. The engine and transmission are original and in general, the vehicle runs great with no issues and is my daily...
New issue. Had a P0155 code come up. Looks like O2 sensor. Should I do any further diagnostics on this or just replace all of them? I don't recall ever changing these sensors.
Did some research on here to gather some ideas and tips. Saw @Doubeleive mention O2 sensor socket and/or crows foot...
Ok, I'll take it into a shop to get a look at it. Is this something for any muffler shop to handle, ie, like midas, meineke, etc or should I look more carefully? What is this section supposed to look like?
Hey everyone!
Hope you've all been well!
The truck is still cruising. I'm going to hit 200K in the next week or so and really haven't had any issues.
I noticed a metal tinging/rattling today and saw this. What am I looking at here? What I've circled is what is moving around and causing the...
The cast arm one is for the read.
I'm a little confused by the comment 3-way with leads and the other referenced part number. Does that mean I'll need to splice some wires to make this work with the additional part they reference? Doesn't seem like it's a ailable on rockauto.
I found this part on rockauto which I believe to be the right part, but wanted to have you all double check. Does front left mean driver side?
Also, I have the Z55 option (not magneride Z95).
Yup! That's exactly what it is. I took a bunch more pictures, but you found it! Thanks so much for taking a look at this.
The only thing I've been getting very intermittently is a service suspension system that will just come on every now and then.
I'm wondering if this could cause that?
I'm going to take a closer look at it and see if I can get some better pics and describe it better. It's definitely not aftermarket. I'm the original owner of the truck and only started tinkering with it last year when I found you guys here.
It's this entire part and just looks like it fell off the post it's supposed to sit on (also pictured) in my previous post. I think it's just that clip that fell off that needs to be replaced (the Intellek cover/clip).
Hey Everyone,
Found a new issue today when going under to do an oil change. This is on driver's side. Pics attached of driver's side where it's no longer connected properly and on the passenger side where it all looks good.
1. What is it?
2. Is it just that cap in the center that holds it...
