Thanks for pointing that out. It's not a major rub fortunately, but the top plastic trim is visually noticeable. I'll come up with a plan when I visit the yard again.
Hmm... Something I will have to check next time I go to the PYP.
Edit: I checked the photos of the vehicle in question. Definitely no handle. I'll have to pull it apart to see how it goes together.
1. ESV rack, painted caps with AutomotiveTouchup - probably the easiest painting I've ever done.
2. Hybrid tails - no wiring modifications necessary, but don't look too closely at the bumper. I'm going to go back to the PYP yard for the glass as the regular glass rubs on the sides.
Tackling this project again, here is what I found:
1. Each bulb is controlled by an 6143D MOSFET. The MOSFET has five pins, one of which is a current sense output.
2. It appears as if the Escalade "Lamp Outage Detection Signal" pins may actually be useful.
3. I look at the board too much and...
I haven't posted in a while because life got in the way. I looked into custom BCM programming solutions but couldn't justify the cost.
Here's what I do know:
1. The shunts aren't for the bulbs.
2. My next step is to buy the 3-day subscription to the service manual and trace some wires.
Not sure...
2AWG SB175 Connector for inverters and jumper cables. Now to get the rest of jumper cable assembly. I miss the GMT-800 positive terminal box. The screw holes are still there, perhaps I can add one.
Fixed P0315. Code never showed on a traditional scanner, got it with the Tech2.
Did the crankshaft variation relearn and my engine light is finally out.
$111 for the VCX Nano has got to be the best money I've ever spent.
I had the same issue. Somewhere along the lines of previous owners, my driver door switch was replaced. I used a VCX Nano and a subscription to ACDelco Techline Connect to program it. Ended up being relatively easy.
Does anybody actually know what this software is?
Anyway, I swapped the BCM this morning and I got weird errors and weird operations, sort of like with my unprogrammed driver door module. I even got hyperflash with the stock Silverado program. SPS programming took less than 5 minutes and...
2003 to 2006 used a 10-pin plug in relay module, 2002 and older used a 3 or 4 wire flasher module. It probably came down to new functions like TPMS relearn blinks on the corners.
I had long hypothesized that with the BCM controlling turn signals in newer models (my Volt was the same way) there must be a circuit in the BCM to detect the current on the output. A local salvage yard had two available, one from and Escalade and one from a Silverado, each for $40. I decided to...
I have the eraser wheel, but it only works for the glue. I can get them off with wax, but it takes a lot of elbow grease. Haven't tried a clay bar yet.
I had major success while using SPS2 and Techline Connect to program my driver door module. Here is what I learned.

My particular scenario: Use a VM on my work laptop...
I was not expecting this with the VCX Nano... Failed/Current DTCs

I did more research and found that GMT-900 trucks do not have hidden buttons for power folding mirrors if it is not equipped with the option. They simply do not have the switch, unlike the predescessors. I have the DL3 door switch without the DL3 RPO. That means that at some point in the past...
My problem is that the driver door does not turn on the dome lights. All of the other doors do. All functions of an open/closed door work, such as radio turn off. I'm not sure of it's related, but I cannot install an aftermarket radio with the PAC RP5-GM31 wiring interface... radio turns on and...
