    Well, I think I found my answer and should have come up with it on my own. It was suggested to me by someone at Discount Tires that sees this often. Tape off, scuff and just paint the TPMS stem high temp semi-glossy black. He said it's what most people do in order to avoid the cost of new TPMS...

    Thanks for taking the time to post these pictures. They're really helpful! I'm starting to wonder if I can just replace the stem with a rubber one from RockAuto. They sell those there. I need to get my TPMS modules out of my old rims to verify that.

    I called my local tire shop and they want to install aftermarket TMPS module they supply for $75 each. That sounds ridiculous. I guess I'll ping around on eBay and see what I can find.

    Check those gutters. From lots of I've read from here, they're usually the problem. I didn't have an issue with leaks on mine, but I checked them anyway after reading about it in this forum and found mine were close to being clogged.
