    I'm removing it because there is no EGR port on the long tube headers I'm installing. So no choice but to remove for me. Otherwise I'd leave it on as it doesn't hurt performance really.

    I'm betting it's due to the govt clamping down on emissions regulations. Cobb tuning had to lock out some features on their stuff too. Guess they got their hand slapped. How long before they go to federal emissions checks, not just at a state level. Then we're all screwed lol.

    Yeah the bumper would have to be swapped too. I like the Denali front end, just not the grille insert, the "honeycomb" or whatever you want to call it.

    Unless you get a Y-pipe with cats or have one made with cats in it, you can't reuse the stock Y pipe, so the cats will have to go.

    Lug Wrench recommendations?

    Ditch the 4 way, its not 1972 and you only have one size lug nut. Get a 22mm socket and a breaker bar, good to go. I torque my lug nuts as well, but in a roadside tire change, I'd just make sure they're tight with the breaker bar.

    I was referring to a Y-pipe coming from the manifolds into the muffler. This is what makes the 6.0L exhaust set up different than the 5.3, which has a Y-pipe and a single inlet at the muffler. Interesting that they did that though.

    The 6.0L was different on the 00-06. It's a dual inlet to the muffler, with a single outlet. So there is no Y-pipe.

    They don't list a cat back for any of the 00-06 6.0L, only the 5.3L. I'm starting to think it'll just be easier (and cheaper) to just put a whole 5.3 exhaust, from long tubes all the way back on instead of a 6.0L. My main concern is I keep seeing 5.3 headers and y-pipe may or may not fit...
