Front AC drain location 08 Yukon?

I’m getting water in my passenger floor. I’m assuming my drain is clogged or isn’t running to where it should ( I had the whole hvac unit out and reinstalled, maybe I missed the drain?). Can someone tell me where the drain is and should go?

08 Yukon XL key not turning

My key is getting stubborn in the ignition switch. It takes more and more fiddling to get it to turn. I’m assuming the tumblers are worn, but I saw something about programming the keys. I tried searching but didn’t find any threads with this specific problem. I’m guessing I just need a new...

    Lost my speakers

This is a weird one, I lost my front and rear speakers. The sub still works and the tweeters work, but all others went silent. It’s a factory Bose setup with a new Boss head unit. I’m thinking it has to be within the Bose amp or ???

    [SOLVED] Backup camera wiring

I’m wanting to install an OEM backup camera on my 1941 Cadillac project ( it’s on a 2008 Yukon Denali). I have all the stock Yukon wiring, except I’ve deleted the harness for the lift gate. I want to wire the camera directly to the rear harness. My challenge is that the camera I bought (OEM...

    Smaller steering wheel

Has anyone successfully installed a smaller diameter steering wheel? I could use more room between my wheel and the door panel on my 2008 Yukon based 1941 Cadillac, and I figure if anyone has done it it would be someone here. I’d like to keep the steering wheel controls functional.

    Question about negative battery cable

There’s a small module on my negative battery cable that connects to a plug on the engine harness. I currently have this unplugged and it doesn’t seem to cause an issue, but does anyone know its purpose? Looks to be an induction sensor but don’t know what it’s purpose is. Thanks!

    Need a favor (measurement)

I need some help from the community, I need to know the distance from the top of the fuel filler to the restrictor plate (where pump nozzle goes in). I need to replicate the fill from my 2008 Yukon for a custom fill for my “Radillac” project. If someone could pop their fuel cap and put a...

    Reprogramming question

I’m using a 2008 Yukon Denali for the base of my 1941 Cadillac project and it will not have airbags. Does anyone know if ECU (or BCM) can be programmed to turn off airbag warnings? I’m also getting park assist errors, I’m not sure f that can fixed or turned off. Thanks for any insight you may have!

    Brake lines

Can anyone confirm the brake line size on my 08 Yukon XL? I need to splice the two lines running from the ABS unit to the rear brakes. I searched this site and found several people saying they were 1/4” but, after laying out the $$ for 1/4” fittings and a 1/4” flaring tool, they are larger than...

    Fuel pump question

I have my tank out and figured I’d replace the fuel pump while it’s out. I see most swear by AC Delco pumps, but I see Bosche makes one also. Has anyone had issues with a Bosche pump? In my other car circles Bosche is highly respected for fuel pumps.

    Smaller brake booster

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know of a smaller diameter brake booster that will fit my 08 Yukon? I’m using the Yukon as a base for a project car and things will be tight under the hood. I don’t think I can fit the stock booster under the hood. I’ve seen 8” dual diaphragm boosters...

    Steering question

I recently bought my 2008 Yukon XL Denali. It has many minor issues but overall drives great. One issue I’m unsure about is the way the steering feels during straight line driving. I feel like the wheel is a little “jerky/twitchy” when given minor input. It’s only for a split second as you move...

New Yukon owner with a question

Can anyone tell me what this connector and the smaller one just below it are for? I just bought 2008 Yukon XL Denali and the wires on the connectors are cut and taped up. I don’t know why they wouldn’t simply unplug them vs cutting. I haven’t found anything that doesn’t work yet, but I’m sure GM...
