I have my tank out and figured I’d replace the fuel pump while it’s out. I see most swear by AC Delco pumps, but I see Bosche makes one also. Has anyone had issues with a Bosche pump? In my other car circles Bosche is highly respected for fuel pumps.

My factory pump was working fine at 180k miles. Corrosion at the mounting plate caused a leak which is common but I'm also in a salt state. It's not something I would replace unless it fails IMO.

Myself, it's AC Delco only.

The pump in my 2001 died around 180k miles, fortunately only a few hundred yards away from my house (but a full tank :banghead: ).

I preemptively replaced the fuel pumps (yes, plural on the 2500) on my 08 at 217k miles. It's our primary vacation vehicle - too much of a PITA if it fails while we're somewhere like BFE Wyoming.

For us to give appropriate answers to your questions, it would really hep to tell us the vehicle info.

Or, is every single 2007-2014 Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade exactly the same?

Bosch is OEM in GM Europe / Russia. Genuine GM parts are now packaged in AC Delco boxes with the factory holographic seal on it.

Stick with Bosch, GM or AC Delco. Get the one with a lifetime warranty and sender included. Rock Auto & parts geek has great pricing and no haggle warranty protection.

The focus in to do the job every 100k miles max based on a well built pump & sender. The lifetime warranty takes some of the sting out of the PITA job if it needs a redo on your dime.
