    Anyone running Eibach Pro-Truck Stage 1 ?

I'm not sure yet, it depends if Bilstein ever gets around to making a set of 8112s for the K2 platform. Otherwise I'll look to making something custom with whoever gives me the best deal on 3.0" body shocks.

    Anyone running Eibach Pro-Truck Stage 1 ?

Yep, I'm running it. It's valved soft like the Foxes, not hard like the Bilsteins. For the street they are very comfortable, some might even say plush. Works well for offroading, as long as you aren't going fast. After about 2 years with it I'm ready to upgrade though. I will say the zinc...

    Vibrations. Stumped for now.

It's hard to say from your description, but nevertheless I must ask the question: Are you familiar with the term AFM/DoD ? During cruise conditions active fuel management will opportunistically revert to 4 cylinder operation for economy. This can be shown in the DIC and will appear as a "V4"...

Show off your 2015+ leveled Tahoes and Yukons!

I chopped the front and rear portion maybe 2-3" then welded new caps on. I did it that way because they extended a little to close to the tires and I wanted to make sure that if I go larger than 35s they don't end up being in the way.

If you click on my profile and go into albums there are a few pictures with the sliders. They are Trailgear generic sliders which I chopped down to fit.

What options do we have for a front locker?

It's a 2017 Tahoe 4x4. But I read an article about why GM didn't offer a front e-locker on the 2024 Silverado HD ZR2 and a GM representative basically said it has electronic driving modes and traction control and basically software is free and an e-locker would add cost. And I think over the...

What options do we have for a front locker?

First off I use my Tahoe mostly as a camping, overlanding, trail rig and have done a few trips with it to realize it desperately needs a front locker. The "virtual locker" electronic braking thing is a party trick and just enough for GM marketing to make up whimsical stories for why they didn't...

    Most offset on 35s?

It's detailed on other sites but, but in general its how to cut the inner wheel well (cab side) where it would usually rub.

This is the Eibach Pro Truck suspension set to a 1.5" lift. Comes with longer shocks and springs front and rear. I like it overall. Didn't need a diff drop. However. I've recently discovered dunes, and this suspension, a trophy truck it does not make.

    Most offset on 35s?

My PPV is on the factory 17" steel wheels which are +24mm offset I believe. I needed to add 15mm spacers, and do the norcal mod.

radiator leaking, what replacement is everyone using

I took the Tahoe to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes this past weekend and ended up blowing the radiator. It cracked on the front corner of the drivers side inlet tube, about a 5" vertical crack. Plastic end tanks, smh. So, I'm looking at getting a 3 row aluminum aftermarket radiator and have...

    2016 Tahoe ppv console ?

@Bigmike750 I'm in the same boat. I've got my console in but no wiring harness connector, just a loom of bare wires. I also need to source a female connector to connect to the center console and match all the wires together. I'm not sure if thats the way it works or not. Theres usb cables...

What’s wrong with those tires on the pictures?

When i’m at the track (in the race car, not the tahoe, haha) I can get that same pattern if I scrub the tire too hard and overheat the rubber. I think it’s called graining. I would say that is indicative of a previous test drive peeling out around a corner more than of anything else. As...

They are stock police PPV steel wheels which have a 0 offset so it cleared pretty easily. I did the RC UCAs and I had very very minor rub on the UCA when turning full lock. I resolved that with a set of 15mm hub centric spacers. I did do the Norcal mod. Now theres zero rub, lock to lock, at...

Ordering parts for a regear, ring and pinion swap, have you ever done one?

Just finished with the job a few days ago and wanted to wrap up this thread, and give back to the community with the experience. The way I went about it was I found it easier to just remove the entire rear axle from the Tahoe and move it into the garage so I had space to work on it comfortably...

Ordering parts for a regear, ring and pinion swap, have you ever done one?

It's a 5.3, so a 9.5", it has the G80 and I didn't really know how to search for the different carriers. Thanks for that link, that made it very easy to find the GM PN 40090728 for the 3.42+ carrier, however that is an open differential carrier. I don't see any G80 carriers there. But I have...

Ordering parts for a regear, ring and pinion swap, have you ever done one?

Okay, so far the tools I've ordered: - Dial indicator with magnetic base - to measure backlash - 1/2 brass punch - to drive out bearing races without marring housing - Pinion/carrier bearing puller - 10 piece bearing/seal driver kit - Beam drive torque wrench - to measure pinion preload I don't...

Ordering parts for a regear, ring and pinion swap, have you ever done one?

I'm ordering parts to do a 4.10 ring and pinion swap in the 2017 Tahoe. The rear axle is a GM 9.5" 12-bolt right? It currently has a 3.08 and the G80 locker. From what I gather there is a carrier split at 3.23. I don't know if I can use the same carrier for the 4.10 or what people do. I...

    Questions on Suburban lift.

Have you measured your up/down travel on your setup? Front and rear (mostly interested in front, but also rear). Also do you think the UCAs were super necessary with that setup or just nice to have?
