    2015 and 2016 Escalade w/ 6.2 engines blown

That's wild... I have a 2016 XL Denali that was purchased used with 75k miles on it. Not even 3000 miles later lifter chewed up the camshaft. At the time I didn't have the funds or the down time available to do a mechanical delete... Also the vehicle was still under warranty. The dealer did...

I checked that first. No visible signs of any leaking or weeping that I can see.

    Coolant leak

Hi guys. Today I am replacing the oil cooler lines on my 2016 Yukon 6.2 L. I have had a very slow coolant leak, maybe half inch to an inch drop in reservoir level between oil change intervals. I found evidence of coolant on this transmission cooler line in the picture, but no evidence of it...

Catch can green light for me, edited

I have a 2016 Yukon XL Denali with 98,000 miles. I bought it used in 2023 with 75,000 miles on the odometer. At 77,800 miles, the lifters failed. The repair was covered by power train warranty 100%. The day I got it back I installed the J&L catch can. I empty it monthly with a reminder set...

Brand New Yukon - Warning light driving home from dealership

The more I read and learn about the issues with the 2021+ Generations, the less and less I want one. It is absolutely ridiculous that these vehicles are made with such horrible QC.

Haven't noticed any fuel smell since. But I don't daily it, so it's only been a week.

We were noticing a fuel smell at start up intermittently. I found TSB's for the fuel feed line leaking above the tank, so I replaced that to the updated part. However, when I pulled it, it wasn't leaking. There were signs of it rubbing in the areas of concern, so I wasn't mad about it . I ended...

    Lug Nut replacement...

I want to replace the stock lugs with a solid option. The beauty covers on the stock nuts are starting to become loose. My fear is that eventually rust and corrosion will start to creep and there will be issues with removing the wheels. 2016 XL Denali

    Potential Re-Gear idea

I am contemplating having a tune done for both engine and transmission. At 93,000 miles now and so far (knock on every piece of wood in sight) no transmission issues, other than changing fluid, filter and the lower harness, for the temperature sensor. The 8 speed seems to be decent for me.

    Potential Re-Gear idea

@Marky Dissod @swathdiver Thanks for the information... Doesn't seem reasonable to change anything up for minimal benefits like that. I don't race or Off-road it. Might be some towing in the future. I guess the 3.42's would come in handy there. But I'll cross that bridge when it comes.

    Potential Re-Gear idea

I have a 2016 XL Denali. 6.2L w/ 8L90E drivetrain. It comes with the 3.23 ratio gearing. Would replacing those with factory 3.42 gears have any huge positive impacts on drivability?

My 2015 Yukon Denali has over 400,000 miles. It's 10 years old today!

That's awesome My 2016 is still in diapers comparatively It has 94,000 miles on it. Lifters and cam replaced 18,000 miles ago. Transmission temperature sensor harness and all fluid changes, kept up on otherwise. There is hope !!!

dod delete etc: proper way to get part numbers?

4 foot breaker bar should crack it loose. Then run it out with your impact. That's probably the cheapest option

Intermittent fuel smell at start up.

2016 Yukon Denali XL Intermittent fuel smell at start up. I found the known issue of the fuel feed line above the tank. I changed it out with the updated part already. Will it did have evidence of rubbing, it was not leaking yet. So I'm glad I caught that beforehand.... Issue still remains.
