    Question regarding trim levels

I have an 07 Sub with LS trim, yet it has leather, Nav, backup camera, 22" rims, etc. I know it is an LS because it is titled that way, badged that way, has a 9 seat capacity, and is missing many creature comforts like memory/heated seats, auto climate control(which I am glad about), regular...

    Service Tire Presure Monitor System

That is the problem with the relearn programming in that if you have one bad sensor early on (I think my front passenger one is out), you cannot tell if the others beyond it in the programming cycle are good or bad. :banghead:

    Best rotor/pad deal for a 2007+

I guess PM me then because not only am I having some trouble with the website, but I also had someone else contact me about a complete package that is less expensive(from what I call tell having trouble with your website). As an FYI, I have a 2007 Sub 1500, and would replace all 4 rotors and...

    Best rotor/pad deal for a 2007+

Which ceramic pads as I do not see a package deal on their website that include pads?

    Best rotor/pad deal for a 2007+

Thanks for the replies so far. I have owned different cars/trucks, and one thing I forgot to ask about is brake dust. On BMW's, it is absurd how often you need to clean the wheels, so when it came time to change the pads, I went with a low dust pad. Let me tell you it made a HUGE difference...

    Jiffy Lube experience

The lure of a cheap oil change got me just before a road trip and I was closing in on an oil change time. As to the Dexcool, I am tempted to change it to a regular/standard green coolant because of all the problems I've read about people having with it. Now that Jiffy Lube filled my reservoir...

    Best rotor/pad deal for a 2007+

I have some decent meat on my current rotors, but they need to be cut at minimum since they have some heat spots on them. So I'm considering of getting new rotors and pads, but want to find good ones at a good price. Anyone have any recommendations?

    Tire Sensors - TPMS

Short of advice from someone soon saying they are not good, I think I will be trying the ebay sensors.

A distracted driver finally got me.

Here is the problem that most people do have. Most think they are better drivers than they really are. They typically have no training or even an idea how to maneuver in a crisis, whether if be on a wet road, or hard braking situation. When I took my EVOC training for the first time I thought...

A distracted driver finally got me.

First I am glad to hear everyone was uninjured. That said, and ASSUMING this was his 1st accident, he still is an example of the menace these irresponsible drivers pose while playing with their phone. For all you know he was not using his GPS program, but maybe texting LOL or OMG which we all...

    Tire Sensors - TPMS

While I am happy to support a forum vendor, can you give me an answer(can be via PM if you prefer) as to the difference between yours for $130(maybe with tax), vs. the ones I linked from ebay for $95 with no tax?

    Front Dash Crack

It is an equal opportunity factory defect on all color dashes that GM makes for their trucks. Yes, it should not crack after 100K, much less under 15K which is the lowest I've read it has happened to. Heck I have several cars from the 1980's with no crack in the dash, so a couple of years is...

Mirror Swap Question: Are Side Mirrors Plug and Play on an 07 Tahoe?

    Third Row bench seat problem

Sorry for the late reply as the seats are down on the list even though I do want to get them fixed. I will try again, but the left side did not seem to want to come out from any position, but maybe I had it too close to being upright. As to the right side backrest not flipping down, I'd like...

    Well, that Escaladed quickly!

Lugs can make or break the look of nice wheels. My Foose 22" rims on the AV look great, but the lugs sucked, so spending a few extra bucks for decent lugs made a big difference.

Looks great except for those honken headlights which stand out even more with most everything else being blacked out.

    Jiffy Lube experience

They added a lot as my reservoir was close to empty. Still I'd like to know. Trouble is that I am running into the same thing you have where it is about a 50/50 split. Some people/sources swear it is bad and not to do it. Others are saying it is no big deal. The question is who to believe, and...

    Side Blind Zone System Unvailable?

I've been thinking of swapping out my mirrors for ones that have the fold in feature, side blinkers, and maybe even the blind zone feature. If you get the mirrors and the switches, will that alone be enough for everything to work on a swap out?

Looking at getting an older Suburban/Tahoe - Suggestions?

If you are dead set on a Z71 then I cannot help you. But I do have a 2001 Suburban LT Autoride 4X4 with every option and only 130K that I am thinking of selling. Now based on me being new here I don't think I can actually offer to sell it with a price and an ad, but if I do decide to sell it(son...

    Jiffy Lube experience

Well I'd really like to know for certain about mixing coolants and so called universal coolants, because I do not trust the Jiffy Lube person as far as I could throw him.
