    Body Panels Canada

I used these guys for alot of the panels when I did my Rustoration. They shipped to Canada for much less than LMC. https://www.millsupply.com/?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=google_search&utm_campaign=search_brand&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIxr_6tO6JggMVtEd_AB3NwAV6EAAYASAAEgLe5fD_BwE

    99 Tahoe 5.7 leaking coolant

I had bad coolant leaks on my '97. It was leaking from the quick disconnect fitting at the intake and running down the back of the engine. I replaced both the hose and the fitting at the intake. There was also a pinhole leak at the two small water pump hoses, which I replaced with OEM GM parts...

I am heartbroken...the end of an era is upon me...

^ If it's doable, I totally agree with this. I mentioned before, that I spent WAY too much money going this route, but here are a couple before and afters of my Rust Bucket.

Does it display a "Check Engine" light? Are you able to read any trouble codes with a scanner or OBDII reader?

Noise from Transfer Case or U-Joint(s)?

Whenever my U joints have gone bad, I have either got a squeaking sound, a vibration with speed, or a clunk when putting it into reverse. With that low mileage, I would think the CV's would be good unless the rubber boot is damaged. Post up some pics, and let us know what the mechanic found if...

I am heartbroken...the end of an era is upon me...

The Yukon GT was only produced from 93-97. The Chevy Tahoe was produced from 95-99.

    Alternator installation tip.

If I have planned maintenance on my truck, I like to soak the fasteners in penetrating fluid the week prior.

    Poly Bushings

I did Poly Bushings in my '97 GT. I would not do it again. I had to burn the old rubber ones out of my control arms. After the black smoke cleared, I thought I would have to press the new ones in, however the new poly bushings were a very loose fit. Over time this accelerated the wear. I also...

I am heartbroken...the end of an era is upon me...

I know just how you feel. I bought my '97 GT new, with 13 kms on the dial. I lived in a part of Canada, that loved to salt and gravel the roads for a decade. The rust started to take hold. I ended up doing a rustoration, and spent Way too much money on it. It's an ongoing project. I just...

    1999 rust free clean truck

Wow that carpet came out pretty good. I was thinking of doing a carpet replacement from LMC Truck. Now I am wondering if I could just clean mine.....

    96 Tahoe Random Misfire P0300

Do you have any leaking coolant? My lower intake gaskets were completely disintegrated, and I had the same symptoms you are describing. Were the lower intake gasket replaced with the upgraded part 50k ago? I used the Felpro gasket and bolts.

I read a BUNCH of threads here ....

I like mine original too. The only things not factory on mine are a K&N air filter, and BFG KO2 tires.

New To Me 98 Tahoe, Green

When I need to get 8' boards in, I pad the center console with a moving blanket, and stack the ends there. Then I can close the barn doors. It all depends on how many boards you are loading up though.

    Fuel filter

I like to call the local GM dealer, give them my VIN number, and then get them to read me the Part Number and the price. Then when I hear a high price, I say "I will call you back..." Then I am armed with an OEM part number, and Google is my friend.

    Electrical Bug!!!??!?!

The multifunction switch (Signal/Wiper Stalk) is a known weak point on these trucks. I would lean towards that if you are having wiper issues after replacing the motor. Power drains are tough to diagnose. Check that your dome lights are not staying on. I keep my "overide" button at the light...

    Radio disconnected?

Yes the Orange wire goes to the 10 amp fuse, at the fuse panel. It should be 12vdc, "Hot" at all times.

What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I miss driving my Yukon on a daily basis. I love sitting up high, and being able to see further at traffic up ahead on the highway. I can tell the truck is getting vintage, because people have been giving the thumbs up and getting excited. I parked it until Dinosaur gas comes down, or I have an...

Any value to OEM AM/FM cassette unit?

My buddy had a '70 Bronco with 35s, 5.0L 3 on the tree. I loved that truck. I told myself I would order the new Bronco when it came out. Then gas hit $8 a gallon, so I bought a Ford Mustang Mach-E. I still have my 2 door Yukon in the garage.
