Back to the electrical...

And lastly, they are going to run CAT6 cable from the house to the storage closet where I'll install my Eero mesh extender for wifi out on the dock, as well as control the dock mounted security cameras.

Great call on the CAT6. The mesh extender and cameras will be perfect additions to this beautiful project.

Keep in mind, about the longest you should run CAT6 and expect good signal speed is a touch over 300 feet.

Tell them to pull a couple extra through the conduit for either future use or to switch over in case of problems.

That cable distance limit is not something I even considered when I started drawing up things. Fortunately it was brought to my attention prior to ordering the extra conduit.

Good call on that

Is the water still low? We been getting plenty of rain. Put a water level gauge on one of the posts.

Boat lift is finally in. Some minor adjustments once the boat arrives. They should be done completely with the build tomorrow. What will be left, however, is the electrical, the upstairs gate (is being made), and removal of all the scaffolding, cleanup, etc.

We are still waiting for the water levels to come up about another foot before we can do the PWC lift. Right now we are up 13" from last week and hoping for more rain to bring it up some more.

Thank you sir! Now if I could just get my neighbor to remove their sunken dock lol.

They are elderly, I might try to chat with them while we are there to see if there's anything I can do to help them out. They dont come outside much.
That sunken dock should act like a reef and draw some fish.
