So I remote start my vehicle this morning, and the left side front and rear lights are off.. Worked before!

Hazards and blinkers work, while remote starting they flash. But after remote starting, left side lights are off.

Removed autosync from DLC, no change.

Seems like this must be a BCM issue?

I hate Chevy computer modules..

scan it with the tech2, you may get random stuff/codes for stuff that is inconsequential but if it shows any short to ground, etc on the lights that may be a clue.

I'm an idiot, it was just the left park lamp fuse.

None of the lights are out, BUT one sylvania bulb started to smoke the glass..

Although the tailbulbs are 2 years old, one sylania brake light failed 1 year in.. (3057K, A Long Life bulb!)
I replaced the fuse that time as well.. (Also, the crappiest LED bulbs I've ever tried.. sylvania!..)

So I ordered Hella bulbs from Rockauto last time, because I didn't want to get stuck buying another sylvania from the parts store..
(which is what I did, replaced the blown sylvania with another sylvania.. at rip off prices to boot..)

Well I installed the Hella's today (3157TB), and took photos of the Sylvanias..
3 bulbs are 2 years old, one is ~1 year old.. First the good ones..

Now the bad one...

Moral of the story DON'T BUY SYLVANIA! (Unless you want to replace blown fuses and bulbs every year) Between their terribly dim LED bulbs, and buying new bulbs at rip off prices, and buying a pack of fuses.. I've spent ~$200 on sylvania garbage.
