The camera is an awesome feature.
Thought the Android 14 was only going to be a dealer update not OTA?
So do you now have the camera activated turn signals with that update?
Yes, was looking to buy a dashcam and now no need. Need to buy a low profile stubby usbdrive now not to protrude much.
Yes, it was OTA. about 2-3GB update.
I have surround camera recording now which I didnt have before. I dont think camera activated on signals is there. Is that a feature some Tahoe/Yukon have? I thought only Hyundai and stuff.
Settings> Vehicle> Turn Signal Activated View> Slider Button

Did you have the turn signal cameras prior to the update or only after?
I dont see this setting under Vehicle.

I got an update 654.6 but android is still at 12, how did u get the 14? U sure u got 14 and not the last update 654.6 (which seems to have allowed me to activate the turn camera feature)!
Update - two 654.6, second one took me to android 14, now recording works… my grip is the usbc port is in a bad spot, going to get smacked, should have one in a out of the way spot…

I picked my 25 Yukon up from the dealer yesterday and it was updated to Android 14 which fixes some bugs and does include the HD Surround Cameras recording feature. From what I understand the vehicle must already have the HD Surround cameras to get the recording feature. What this update to Android 14 does not do is activate the turn signal cameras, bummer! Hopefully GM will get that going soon too? According to my dealer this update to Android 14 is a lengthy update (4 hours) and should be done at the dealer not OTA which could brick the vehicle if not successful. My dealer is a large one here in Phoenix and they tell me they are inundated with folks wanting the Android 14 update and is tough on them because the vehicle has to stay in a tech's bay for the 4 hours tying up the bay and tech while the update is downloaded from GM for 2 hours and then 2 more hours to install it into the customer's vehicle. I left my Yukon with them for 3 days because I did not need it and now have left my 26 Terrain Denali there for it to get the Android 14 also as the Google navigation was having issues.
This is how mine went:
I park within my home wifi and also I have onstar 5G on the truck
1. When I checked for updates under setting, saw an update (654.60) downloading and stuck at 68%.
2. Waited a day or so and downloaded was completed and prompted for installation. Didnt do it as I have Ra007 installed
3. Next day, removed the battery, removed the Ra007 and reinstalled the battery. Updated had disappeared.
4. Next morning, again saw the updated was available and 100% downloaded.
5. Proceeded with the installation. It said 15 mins for the installation and took about the same
6. Right after the progressbar was completed the infotainment restarted and another progressbar was running from 0 to 100 which too about another 10 mins (not sure if that the Android 14)
7. After that everything restarted.
Anyways, including android 14, it didnt take more than 30 mins for the installation.

One thing of note for new members to this thread, regarding these OTA updates that my dealer pointed out.
The system is smart enough to look at current battery charge state before downloading OTA and if its not at a predetermined charge % it will not do it. I believe its 80% because my battery went to 70% and it would not update but after trickle charging to almost 100% the update processed correctly. Just something to be aware of if an owner has a OTA update issue.
I have the FitCamX dashcam drawing a few amps in parking mode and after a couple weeks of not driving its enough to drain battery and affect OTA updating.
