Wow! Great to hear.. that gives me hope.im well over 400k with afm and original trans
Mine has mostly highway miles for most of its life. A lot of highway miles. I think this what helped the truck. Plus being meticulous about oil changes. You must drive 90mph minimum to get those numbers!
I bought my truck at 200k with about 4400 hrs, avg 45mph which I thought was really good.
Now I do all city driving (8.7 mpg on e85) so its dropping fast.
Damn.my 07 has 254k, we recently sole a 08 with over 660k. i still have the last inspection report to prove it
Jealous of the southern no-salt trucks.255K on our '07 now. It's an L92 (6.2L) so it never had AFM. Still runs great and I'd take it anywhere.
2007 4l60e with corvette servo that was installed early in life, that seems to be crucial to the 4l's survival, 5k mile oil changesWow! Great to hear.. that gives me hope.
I might NOT have to drop $5k in the next few years for a transmission!
What were your maintenance intervals like?
And which transmission/year?
according to my car title I have 860,046 miles when i registered it..I'm nearing 300,000 and I'm wondering how much more life is in my 08 Suburban...
it was a title error suspect it was intentional by the dealershipdid you just say 860k miles? is it the factory 4L60E?
