Trans Fluid flush

Looking for some input on the sludge from most recent trans flush. Replaced the filter this time and cleaned the pan. Normal or not?
2013 Yukon Denali 6.2L 265k.

...that doesn't look too good to me. Some residue is okay, but that looks like metal shards.

Is that the original transmission? If so, it definitely lasted for a 6 speed unit!

Feel free to get your hopes up after disabling Engine Half@$$ and replacing your torque converter.
If you want really high hopes, have your pcm tuned to adjust shifts and torque converter slip.
To replace optimism with pragmatic indifference, delete Engine Half@$$ hardware in addition to the above.
