Hello to all! As a long-time owner of Tahoe's, I finally went with a 2023 Yukon Denali for something different. I was very surprised to find there were no front A-Pillar trim pieces with assist handles, especially in a top-of-the-line vehicle. My 2020 Tahoe Premier Plus had them. I'm just wondering why GM dropped them and if there was some alternative piece I could replace them with.

Regarding the assist handles, I even contacted GM and received no help. I later learned from a buddy whose daughter rented a 2023 Yukon XL SLT for a trip and that one had a passenger handle (see pics), wierd! The only thing I can think of is maybe the SLT doesn't have the Bose System with the tweeters in the A-Pillar?

Yea, our 2022 Denali was lacking those grab handles, sure wish they were there because they are a big help. Another one of those "why not" features that leave you wondering, no light in the glovebox! Does your 2023 have one?

You know, that's a great point! I have been without a light in the glovebox so long I've forgotten about them! No, it doesn't.

That's a very good question. Does not make sense to remove them. My 07 has (had before I ripped it out) a Bose system with the pillar speakers, but still has the grab handle.

Yes, I've had several Tahoes with both grab handles and speakers in the pillar trim also.
