annoying noise

so whenever i drive i get an annoying sound, its consistant with engine rpm. it sounds the way a power steering pump did when it was low on fluid. vehicle has a new serpentine belt and new idler pulley, and a new transmission. has 156k on the clock. 2015 tahoe

you might need to pick up a stethascope from the auto parts store and try and find the source of the noise

I had a bad bearing in an alternator that sounded like that. Alternator worked just fine just noisy. I found it as stated above...with a stethoscope .

Agreed with above ^^^^^

I'd also recommend taking the main belt off and see if anything changes. If it does, then you have a starting area to look. You could also try having someone drive for you, or change rpm in park while you sleuth around to try and find the offender
