My fiance has a 2012 Tahoe 2wd. What size tire should I run on a 20x10 wheel? It's stock with no kind of modifications. I was told 275/55r20s which would be stock LTZ size would scrub with those wheels.

305s or 315s? IMO a wheel that wide will be more headache than its worth with all the fitment issues it will cause. I'd stick to factory offsets and an 8.5 or 9 inch wheel width.

If 275s scrub, 305 or 315 is out the question. That's a bigger tire.

They are -18mm offset if I remember correctly.

The 20 inch wheels made for the GMT900s have offsets of 22 mm, 27 mm and 31 mm. Backspacings from 5-1/8" to 5-15/32". Something in that range will keep the wheel and tire from rubbing. Where is everybody? They know more about this than me!

I've got stock 20x8.5" wheels with the 31mm offset on my 07 Yukon XL, and the suspension was modified to remove the air-assist in the rear with coil overs. Otherwise, the suspension is stock with stock height. I mounted 305/50x20 Michellin Defender tires, and I have no rubbing issues.

The wheels I have are aftermarket. Fuel Triton. They are on my truck and its gonna be down for awhile to do a swap so I was just gonna get some tires that would fit on them and use them on the tahoe if possible. I was thinking maybe a 275/45 would fit fine without scrubbing. Just trying to see what others might be running
