Hey all,

I have a 17 z71 Midnight Edition... Time to start doing some bolt on mods.
Looking at a Setina PB400 push-bar, exact same one the police use.

However, I have some questions regarding installation - I was cautioned by the manufacturer in conversation that it may interfere with the radar cruise/collision warning and front parking sensors. Does anyone have experience with installing one of these? Photos welcome of course...

Thanks in advance!

Not that but ive read that if you have the ACC that you can only put 1 tow hook on because the ACC radar controller is very close to or in the spot where the second would mount to the frame. Im assuming the pushbar would mount in the same location as the tow hooks so that’s probably ehat he means, and as far as parking sensors if the pushbar is close to them it might not work because its ‘sensing’ something, almost like when you tow a trailer, system shuts fown or warns you it is blocked.

I currently have a setina bar on my 2016 yukon denali i had to remove the radar module and currently i am trying to relocate it near to work properly. As for the sensors my middle two on the bumper don't work as they sense the bar but i saw someone with extended wire harnesses and then mounted the two senors to the bar to work so i am looking for that too. Its a working progress. If you know anyone who has or can make harnesses to extended the sensors please let me know or a good way to relocated the radar sensor. I will keep you updated with what i find. But the setina bar really looks fantastic

update.... There are two companies that make relocation kits for the blocked sensors westin 40-0005s and luverne 390210 in my case i left the two factory painted sensors in the bumper i ordered two new ones not painted (black) and used the kit so the truck still looks factory and the bar looks factory and i ran the wires out the tow hook areas where the setina bar attaches to the truck. I just have to figure out the ACC radar sensor now.

any pics of the bar on your truck? Im looking at adding one to my SLE yukon. Also trying to figure out the best way to handle the parking sensors. Some companies claim you can just cover the sensor and that tricks it...

Ended up going with the go rhino bar. Had to modify it to fit on my yukon. The middle pics show where I had to cut a diagonal to take away some material to clear the lower lip of the bumper. The last pic is of these little rubber stickers that "ranch hand" sells for $5.00 that literally just stick on the offending sensors. Havent had any issues with sensors at all. They work. I left the outside ones alone and they do their job well. In fact I dont miss the center sensors at all. They only seemed to go off when I was parking in front of a bush or something.

Forgot to mention, I like that the go rhino bar allows the use of the factory tow hooks, the top isnt above the hood line, and you an add headlight guards later if you want.(those holes in the uprights) Very happy with it.
