Thanks Konvict
You had some good advice when I did my YuKon project.
I have a big brake going on this Hoe and I'll see what they send me for lines if anything.
Thanks again
guys,
I have an 05 Tahoe 2wd. Going to use the 3" spindles, 5100's and sway bars. My stock keys will do and I'll crank them about half way. This will be good for I'm using the Hoe for.
My question is I'm not sure if the brake lines will need to be replaced, if it's recommend to replace...
i'll have to get a pic up of what my Tahoe currently looks like. I'm going to go with the Bilsteins, Keys and spindle set up. have the shocks on already.
@middlegriff1, you fabricated the front bumper yourself? do you have more for sell or take orders?
Z-56,
thanks for the info, the wife's tahoe has a great look. the suspension is where is want my truck to be. cant wait to get all the parts and slap them on.
@middlegriff1, i like that look. your truck looks great. that is just about where i want mine to be.
since the 35's came with the rims i'm going to run those out then move to those style 33's.
that really is a great looking truck you have!
the Bilsteins will be here today and the plan is...
@fire730, i jumped the gun a bit but could'nt pass up the deal that was given to on the rims n tires. i'll be doing a minimal amount of trail driving when we go camping and the occasional off road jaunt when we're in Palm Springs.
do you have a part number or model for the sway bar?
the...
so i found the Bilstein 5100's on amazon, they've already shipped. not getting any different keys since most people say that the stock will work just fine.
the springs and spacers are also pretty easy to find but the lift spindles are still a mystery, anyone?
hey guys,
I had an 05 Yukon that was street modded. recently bought a 2005 Tahoe that was bone stock. the plan is to lift the Tahoe, having mainly lowered vehicles most of my life my knowledge is very minimal.
I recently got a smoking deal on a set of 17" wheels wrapped in 35x12.50R17 TL...
Damn.
@fire730, my post keeps deleting itself.
Yes, 2wd.
Have 17" rims wrapped in 35" tires
Minimal rubbing but would like turned keys enough to get an inch and a half but would like an additional 2-3"s.
What and where do I get the following:
"ford" torsion keys?
Bilstein 5100 shocks...
5100's?
I just cranked the keys all the open on my 05 since I'm trying to squeeze 17's wrapped in 35" tires buuuut a need about another 2"s it seems and I am not sure how to go about that.
