Had to replace the spiral cable to fix Service Airbag message on the DIC. Noticed the message would disappear in certain steering wheel positions. I could only clear the code in that position also, otherwise it came back immediately. Went ahead and replaced torn shift boot while I was there...
The Nivomats ride the best and perform great. If swapped to regular or Bilsteins, make sure the coil springs have already been replaced with the z71 type springs or replace them
Definitely check the rear lighting block for corrosion. It is by the rear left wheel. You can clean any green pins or choose to replace it. It’s cheap.

You need to replace the actuators. The one for the driver side is up and to the left of where passengers feet go. The mode actuator is more fun(!) and up and to the right of where the drivers feet go. Make sure you get that big plastic cam thing lined up right.
A) Is there a mileage that is recommended to swap the radiator? IRS now 20+ years old and working fine but…I’d rather not have it pule at a bad time.
B) what replacement is everyone using? I see the Delco one is $265. What about Denso or some other aftermarket that is good? Denso is $100...
Can anyone tell me how to put this fabric back correctly? It is the underside of the flip up captains chair trim. Can’t figure out how these pieces go together.
Also, anyone know if there’s a fix to the handle for the captains chair seat back? I found a new handle and it broke also. The cam...
On today’s episode of “it ain’t supposed to be like that” here’s the old steering shaft after replacement. This is after I wire wheeled it and greased it. It had plenty of rust on the telescoping part. This is the 3rd time I’ve replaced this POS over the years. Tried different iterations of OEM...
probably about a second a half. The first time it happened I wasn’t even sure it wasn’t sparking else’s car. Second time I had a passenger and we both knew it was mine for sure. Went over the same railroad tracks 4 times this weekend, couldnt reproduce it
Still monitoring. Still only happened twice. Best guess is stereo, who knows. If it would happen, I’d try with the stereo off but for now, I guess I wait
Definitely not tire rub. That doesn’t sound like a washing machine buzzer, and I redid all the shocks etc a while ago, had these tires for a couple of years. No dash lights, headlights were not on because it was sunny.
