    Trailer Wiring - software

Yup, it seems GM integrated factory brake controllers are very sensitive to variations in voltage as well as ground. My problem was that the paint on my WDH bars had rubbed off and the brake controller was finding an alternate ground through the hitch, especially when going around corners. Was...

    Transmission cooler for 2021 Tahoe

That's kind of the way I'm leaning.

    Transmission cooler for 2021 Tahoe

At one point got up to about 240-250 degrees. Short of the red line. Towing a trailer that at scale is 6700lbs loaded max. Maybe a little less since this was the return trip and we had left some items behind with relatives. Very warm day, steep climb that slowed us down to 45-50 mph on the...

    Transmission cooler for 2021 Tahoe

I have a 2019 Denali 6.2 L Max Tow that has an aux trans cooler in front of the radiator. See picture. The top few inches are the trans cooler and the bottom is the A/C condenser. I drive a lot in the mountains and tow a 6500lbs+ trailer. Even with the additional cooler I can tell you the...

2016 Tahoe Factory Transmission Cooling Method?

I believe most standard models have a trans cooler that is on the side of the radiator. The models with towing package have an additional cooler in front of the radiator. At least that's the way it is on my 2019. The trans cooler is the top few inches of the unit and the bottom is the...

Best way to test 7-pin trailer connector?

Or if you are like a lot of us that tow and get the Infamous "Check Trailer Brakes" warning and are told by the car dealer that its the trailers fault and told by the RV dealer its the cars fault -- You could do this that checks the light connections as well as the brake circuitry. Maybe not...

Post what y'all tow with your Tahoes, Yukons, and Suburbans!

24 ft and about 6900 lbs loaded. Does pretty good with the weight and length but close to the limits of what my Denali can safely handle.

    2019 Tahoe Premier Towing Capacity

I would think that would be a piece of cake.

    RV Towing

I have a Yukon Denali, no the XL, with the 6.2L and Max Towing package. I tow a 25 ft. trailer, about 6700 lbs loaded. That's about the limit for my vehicle. With the longer wheelbase your XL could probable handle a longer trailer (assuming WDH and antisway) and a little more weight...

    2019 Tahoe Premier Towing Capacity

What swathdiver said: Towing capacity is not nearly as important as Cargo Capacity (including the tongue weight of your trailer), length of the trailer and wheel base. If your planning on long trips on the interstate I wouldn't recommend a trailer longer than about 25 ft and less than 6000...

2019 Tahoe lifter failure at 47000 miles

I have a 2019 GMC Yukon with 6.2L and 10 speed. Got a Range device and it does work on my car. Actually my around town mileage improved a little. Now about 15.9 mpg.

    Lifter anxiety

Not to jinx myself but 2019 Denali with almost 80K miles and so far only issue was one leaking shock. No lifter issues as of yet.

How quickly did you switch out the OEM tires?

For improved handling with towing heavy I switched the original P rated tires to Continental Terrain Contact H/T.

Max Trailering Package question about what is included

Can't think of much else you would need. Maybe, if it has P rated tires consider changing to LT if you are towing something heavy or long.
